Functions as an owner's representative and oversees a project and advocate for their interests throughout its entire lifecycle. Ensuring the project aligns with the owner's vision, goals, budget, and schedule by managing various aspects from planning to completion.
Project oversight: The representative monitors the project's progress, ensuring it stays on track and aligns with the owner's objectives.Advocacy: They act as the owner's agent, representing their interests in all communications and dealings with contractors, designers, and other stakeholders.Management: Responsibilities often include managing contracts, budgets, and schedules, and ensuring the project meets regulatory requirements.Coordination: They help manage the various parts of the project, such as coordinating contractors, material ordering, and delivery assurance.Risk management: They help identify and mitigate potential risks to protect the owner's interests. Budget and resource management: Create and manage program budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and track financial performance. Stakeholder communication: Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on program status and goals.
